Stonethrown

At the core of the band are brothers Judah Salem and Benjamin Judah Kim who were born and raised outside Philadelphia. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2003, Judah moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a songwriter/vocalist/recording engineer. After 6 months, Ben packed up his bass guitar and followed his older brother to LA. Within months, Stonethrown was formed with 3 other members. The band started out as a high energy rock band with passionate vocals, loud intricate guitars, ethereal synth ambience and thunderous grooves. After 2 years of successfully touring and recording in LA, Judah and Ben decided it was time to move back to the east coast.

When they returned they started rehearsals almost immediately. On Drums and percussion, they recruited long time friend and drummer of Grimace Federation, Jon Wood. On second guitar, they recruited Chris Wolf of Philly local band the Flathead Gang.

Since their rebirth, Stonethrown have played a number of successful live shows and have released their debut record "Where You Stand." The album is available for download and physical purchase at cdbaby.com and itunes.
