For
Sal Belloise songwriting isn't a hobby, it's his life. Live performance
has been his life for three decades. Sharing the stage along the
way with the likes of Roger McGuinn, Little Feat, Donovan, Dave
Mason, Pure Prairie League, Robert Cray, Leon Russell, Jesse Collin
Young, and recently the Wood & Wire Tour with Billy Dean, Richard
Leigh and Gary Nicholson. Continually testing his songwriting skills
by auditioning new songs before live audiences gives his songs instant
trial by fire. "If your songs don't connect with the audience
you'll know immediately by the long, lonely silence after the song
ends " says Sal. "When you do connect it's a high that
you want to repeat night after night." Thirteen songs that
have been staples throughout the years for Sal were released in
January of 2008 as "Nothing but Love." Thirteen more songs
were release in September 2008 entitled "The South In Me."
"I have enough songs to release an album every six months until
the national budget balances, and that's what I plan on doing besides
touring." The latest collection of songs were mastered by legendary
LA engineer Ben Rodgers {Pink Floyd, Ambrosia, Ray Charles) who
gave the recordings a "live performance" feel. Winning
numerous awards for his songs and enjoying worldwide radio play
makes Sal feel his life has been blessed . What's next? A music
video of "Crazy Little Planet," a slanted comedic look
at a planet in peril, is slated for release this October. Then tour,
tour & record. www.myspace.com/SallBelloise
