Mog
is an Australian singer-songwriter currently in New Zealand writing
for his upcoming EP.
His songs are alternative rock, rooted in strong songwriting, with
a twist of pop.
Bright White Teeth is now played on Australia’s nationwide
Triple J radio network, who’ve praised “the power of
the driving verses and catastrophically catchy chorus” and
proclaimed “it’s an anthem.”
Mog was a finalist for Bright White Teeth in the 2007 International
Songwriting Competition. He also received six semi-finalist placings
in the 2008 UK Songwriting Contest, was shortlisted for the 2008
Australian Songwriting Contest and was Runner-Up in the We Are Listening
2008 Singer-Songwriter Awards.
Australian media described Mog’s earlier album as “a
fine collection of tales”, while his acoustic material also
placed in 2004’s MusicOz Awards.
Mog has recorded several albums, most recently with the A&R
company Chartsong Productions.
