Mish

 

 

Mish has spent her life doing what she loves; singing, writing and playing trumpet and piano. Travel attracted gigs in London, Norway, The Canary Islands, Japan and North Queensland.
Mish studied Jazz/Classical based Music Composition at the Victorian College of the Arts, and graduated with a B.A. in Contemporary Music Composition at Southern Cross University Lismore.
Mish has won various Songwriting/Performing Awards; Best Adult Contemporary Song at the 2008 North Coast Music Industry Awards; Best Performing Artist at the 2007 ABC Awards; Best Solo Busker at The 2007 Apollo Bay Music Festival and Best Solo Songwriter at The Solo Songwriter Sessions in NSW.
Mish has released three Albums - “Mishful Thinking” (2005), “Soul Songs” (2007), and “Something Wonderful” (2008). She has played at Woodford Folk Festival, Palm Creek Folk Festival, Yepoon Peace Festival, Bangalow Jazz Festival, Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, and Wollumbin Dreaming.
