Chap Bernet

Edward Chappell "Chap" Bernet started playing the guitar in 2002 when he was eleven years old and wrote his first song "Set Me Free" when he was fourteen. Chap's truly unique arrangement and poetic phrasing skills are evident in the songs that he writes. Chap is seventeen years old and a senior at Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas where he is an offensive tackle on the HP Scots football team. He is also active in the choir and school play. In 2007, Chap obtained his Eagle Scout rank from Troop 82. Chap's love for music spans many generations and many genres, from pop to country and soft rock to gospel.
